Some of the attacks that come upon us should not be taken lying down..read on to know what to do..
We are protected, covered by the Blood of Jesus and are hid in Christ. No evil can harm us to destruction. However, we can come under certain spiritual attack and there are many reasons for this. We often say evil encounters can never happen to “real” Christians, but this is far from the truth! I have heard many incidents shared by believer Christians including my own experiences of certain encounters with “spooky spirits”. These encounters do radically affect our lives and if we ignore them, they finally overcome us. I will share some of the incidents here, what these spirits are, and why they come, and then share what we should do to get rid of them.
SOME ENCOUNTERS: A spiritually strong, very prayerful Christian friend shared this with me: She was in the kitchen standing near the table when she suddenly felt a presence in the room. Something then struck her hard on her head in between her eyes; she reeled back and nearly fell down but managed to grip the table, which prevented her from falling. She identified it as an evil spirit.
On another instance, a strong and very prayerful Christian woman known to us was thrown across her room. This was scary and it reached another level. She was dealing with their viciousness and destructiveness ramped up against her.
Another Christian friend had experienced an entity knocking on her bedroom door at night, and even shaking her bed!
A Christian brother shared that he was in his room and he suddenly felt a paralyzing sensation and the room turned icy cold and a glass in the room shattered. At the same time, there were chants going on down below his home on the hillside by some “witch doctors.”
Another strong prayerful Christian woman has felt something sit on her, and at times in the past had felt something trying to strangle her!
I too have experienced been “paralyzed” unable to move or talk until I can feebly utter “Jesus” and then that evil presence departs immediately. Years back, in my early marriage, there was a lot of disturbance in our home and we were troubled. One day, as my husband was returning back home, he saw “me” running up the steps and going inside the house. We were on the first floor. When he came up, he was chilled to find the door was shut, yet he had seen a figure running through the door. When he entered the house, he got goose bumps to find me in another room, it was not possible that I could have entered the house a few moments before. Something else went up through the door! On another instance, when he was on the computer, working at night, around 3 a.m. he saw “me” enter the room from the corner of his eye, he continued working but after a couple of minutes, turned around to find I was not there. He went to the bedroom to find me fast asleep! In one house, we have heard the doors shut firmly and the doorknob turn and open! There was no wind. It seemed as if a person was shutting and opening the doors! Another friend shared with me that years back, her husband witnessed a hand reached into the bathroom, take a hold of the doorknob, and shut the door. He never forgot that. She too said that she had been seeing presences in her home. She caught sight of “someone” from the corner of her eye. Then she felt something behind her, and even saw this presence moving out of sight. A spirit had directly attacked me when I was newly born again, where it tried to drag me down to a place below, and I felt myself sliding. It only left when I mustered enough strength to rebuke it in Jesus’ name.
WHAT ARE THESE SPIRITS? Sometimes when we see these apparitions, we are fooled into thinking that these are angels visiting our homes. Most of the time, these presences seem harmless, and in time, we do get used to them. We never think of praying them out of our homes. We may get spooked out, pray for a couple of days, and then forget about them. These spirits are never from God. They are not angels. Angels are either invisible or if they are revealed to us, they appear in the Glory of Christ, shining, bright and overpowering. If they appear to us as humans, we would recognize something unusual and outstanding about them. Either they would come with a message confirmed in the nature of God and the Bible or they would come to protect us from accidents, harm, and danger. Angels are present and invisible in our lives all the time. We read about them in the Bible, and the children of God knew they were sent of God. These spirits, however, slip into our homes like shadows and hang around. We feel they are harmless but they are not. They initially come in seemingly mild and vague, but in time, their intensity of evil grows. They roam around and bring in other entities or spirits into our home. I was guilty of not praying them out initially when I was aware of their presence, and the darkness increased in our home. We need to take them very seriously and pray them out in Jesus’ Name in His authority. They want to invade our homes to ruin and wreck us up. They plant rage, anger, unforgiveness, and hatred in families. They plant separation and the seeds of divorce. They plant rebellion in our children and put up walls of separation between family members. They put negative thoughts, suggestions, and insinuations into our minds and dull sluggishness in our spiritual lives. They promote hatred between our neighbors and us. In one of our experiences, my son saw an entity walk out of a neighbor’s home and go through the front gate, he thought it was the husband, but later to his horror saw the gate was closed. A few months later, a terrible misunderstanding arose between our neighbor and us. That night of that event, we all individually remembered that apparition that walked out of that main gate and reminded each other of it! It was a spirit that provoked that fight. Interestingly, our pastor mentioned the word, “provoking spirits’ later on, on Sunday morning. This was the first time I had ever heard of provoking spirits!
WHY DO THEY ENTER? As Christians, we cannot believe they can enter our homes or lives or ever dare to touch us. We would answer that this does not happen to real Christians and would say, “Those Christians must be doing something wrong which made them come into their lives, they cannot be real Christians!” Alternatively, we would say, “They are imagining it or they are lying”. This is far from true!
They enter the homes of powerful believers: These spirits often come into the homes of true powerful believers! Why? Because their aim is to steal, kill and destroy powerful believers. Often the greater you rise spiritually, the stronger the intensity of attacks come. A pastor or spiritual leader’s home is more attacked then others. A worship song leader comes under tremendous attack. Prayer warriors if they are not praying come under tremendous attacks. The great mighty man of God Smith Wigglesworth had an encounter with Satan. He says, “We were sleeping one night, when the manifestation of evil filled the room and the spirit of fear gripped both of us. Polly was so frightened she could not open her eyes. I suddenly sat up, in the bed, and saw the devil. I rubbed my eyes to be sure it was he. I said, ‘Oh! It’s only you.’ I then turned to Polly and told her to go back to sleep, it was nothing of consequence, and I laid my head back down. Suddenly an overwhelming sense of peace and love filled the room and we had the most blessed sleep ever.” As we know, Smith Wigglesworth rebuked Satan a lot and he even raised the dead back to life through his powerful anointing in Christ. If anyone knew spiritual warfare in those early days, it was Smith Wigglesworth! We will often find many, many testimonies shared by powerful Christians of demonic encounters. As I wrote earlier, they come to steal, kill, and destroy the children of God.
God allows them in to teach us spiritual warfare to help others: God might allow them to enter our homes to teach us spiritual warfare or even teach others. We would probably not believe others who shared their demonic encounters unless we had them ourselves! We are to pray for them and help them out. I probably would have never written this book, but for the demonic realm I saw acted out in reality in my life!
Demons and spirits enter homes of believers who are not praying: They find entry points, weak spots and God does not stop them because we ourselves have opened a door to them. For example, if there is very little prayer in a home, no gathering together to pray. If believers watch horror movies, or keep watching violent films, or intemperate soap operas, the air gets charged up negatively and demons are attracted to that atmosphere. They start to reside in that home and very little can be done to take them out unless we learn how to pray and wage war in the spirit to cast them out through Christ.
Demons find entry points in people practicing sorcery: Demons have entry points to homes where perhaps a neighbor or the previous person living in that home did black magic/witchcraft. In addition, people may be hexing and sending spirits to that home deliberately. Certain signs that someone is hexing you to harm you, even to the point of death are sudden illness, a sudden death in the family, accidents, ruin, financial falls, and bad health, marriage breakups will be some of these. Sudden shooting sharp pains that go when you pray or cast them out, sporadic rage and anger that fills you, sent by the sorcerer, suicidal thoughts, or murderous thoughts, dreams of serpents, wild animals, dreams of harm and danger, wild water and falling. Things will enter your life suddenly. Someone practicing sorcery probably sends that suddenly. Even if a person is not sending hexes to you directly, just living around your dwellings can cause some of their spirits to enter your home if you are not guarded. Christians can be attacked if they are walking in the flesh and not in the spirit. This will be shared more in the last few chapters.
Demons find entry points if you are dabbling with the occult: Entry points could be that you indulged in astrology, palm reading, crystal ball reading, using Ouija directly calling evil spirits, tarot cards or any other of the occult. If you think necromancy was simply calling dead people to communicate with them, it involves a lot more. Evil spirits who knew your loved dead ones play their roles, pretending to be them. The Bible bridges off the living from the dead and according to it, we are not to practice necromancy, calling them. When we practice these dark arts, evil spirits attach themselves to us, gaining entry points, and they call others. This can be the point where your home can become “haunted” and get out of control. Deuteronomy 18:9-12 ESV “When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.
HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THEM? Appropriate the Armor of God: We cannot fight these in ourselves but only through Christ because He rules over all powers. In Christ, we are royalty! 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. The Bible speaks of the armor, which is our protection in Ephesians 6:10-16. We walk this way: With the belt of truth buckled around your waist. With the breastplate of righteousness in place. Feet fitted with the readiness with the gospel of peace. Shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Helmet of salvation. Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We walk in this Heavenly armor through the Holy Spirit, in communion with Him in righteousness and truth. He clothes us, equips us, and gives us the power to obey. We also have some other weapons of protection. The New Testament speaks a lot about warfare and we need to understand more about it.
The Blood of Christ: Apply the Blood over your lives, family, and home by faith. Speak aloud, “I am covered with the Blood of Christ; no evil can pass through to touch me”. The blood dissolves all Satan’s legal rights of ownership over us “…in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness [remission] of sins”. The Blood of Jesus has the power to break curses spoken over our lives, dissolve hexes, curses, witchcraft and black magic sent against us. This is because Jesus has bought us back to His Kingdom and Satan has no rights over us to attack us. Colossians 1:14. Cover yourself with the Blood by faith.

Sanctification: Numbers: 19. 1-6; Hebrews. 9. 13. Consecration: a) The priesthood. Exod. 29. 20-21; b) The leper on the 8th day of his cleansing, Leviticus: 14. 14. Covenant of the Blood: Exod. 24. 4-8. cf. Gen. 15. 7-21; Jer. 34. 18, 19; Matt. 26. 26-28.
During times of trouble, travel or terrorism, or while travelling in today’s world, on applying the Blood by faith in our situations, we are protected by supernatural fortress walls. It is only because of the Blood of Jesus that we can have a relationship with Father God who created the Heavens and the Universe. It is because of the Blood that we can call Him Abba Father. I myself learned of the protection power of the blood as after a few months of surrendering to Christ as a strange thing started to happen. I would have dreams where I would get up in shock, feeling as if someone was strangling me! It never happened to me before. I would get up crying in a choked voice “The Blood of Jesus!” and immediately the thing would leave! No one ever taught me to say “The Blood of Jesus” and I do not know how that came about, but I knew there was something about the Blood of Jesus, though I was so new in Christ. I was deeply concerned about these attacks, however. I later spontaneously would pray prayers of protection, binding evil, etc., and found immense breakthroughs and changes in situations when I did that. As the Blood was applied to the doorposts in Egypt during the Passover, today we too pray and through prayer ask for the Blood of Jesus to be applied on our lives, our homes, as shelter in times of evil, apply the Blood, cover ourselves with the Blood, and we will see mighty breakthroughs and protection. The Blood reminds us of our covenant relationship with the Lord. Because of our relationship with God, we can experience miracles. No evil can pass the Blood of Jesus.
The Name of Christ: A powerful weapon is the Name of Jesus. When we walk speaking the Name of Jesus, the Presence of Jesus surrounds us like a garment and the old destroyer flies away in horror. The name of Jesus has great authority on in the Heavens, on Earth and under the Earth! Philippians 2:10: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Luke 10:17: The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name. Mark 16:17-18: “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Ephesians 1:23: Jesus Name: Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Acts 4:12: There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
Name That Spirits Recognize There was once a group of people who prayed for the 10/40 prayer window and had a secret special mission during their prayers. They would walk around a place, claiming it for Christ or they would even go to places of strongholds in a town or city and cast down the evil spirits ruling there. Such was the case when a group of young Americans went to a city in India. They went to a temple where blood sacrifices are performed. In the early days, child sacrifice was performed and we still hear of instances where they are still done. The air of gloom and depression mingled with the smell of blood makes it a miserable temple to visit amidst noise and confusion. These Americans went inside the temple and sat down. A few feet away was a Brahmin priest fast asleep in the noise and chaos of the temple. The Americans started to pray softly for the people and for the strongholds to be broken down. They softly called on the name of Jesus. As soon as they said “Jesus”, the temple priest opened his eyes and looked sharply around. He sat up after a while and stared hard at the Americans. It was as if the spirit surrounding him heard Jesus and alerted him to wake up. It was an uncomfortable moment as the priest stared at them, and they continued to pray softly, hoping he would not get an get an inkling of what they were doing. This incident made them more aware of the power of the name of Jesus.
The Name of Jesus during Accidents In another instance, Mrs. Huldah Buntain, (of Assemblies of God) was sharing her testimony in church (Kolkata) of an incident when she was in her car, when a huge truck out of control nearly rammed into her car. She could do nothing at that moment, not even pray, but she called out loudly “JESUS!” The next instant, her car swerved around out of reach of the truck, which then hit the spot where her car had been. If the car had not moved out fast, she would have been killed, but miraculously she was taken out of the truck’s way! !
Rabi Maharaj’s Testimony In Death of a Guru, Rabi Maharaj’s nani (grandmother) had told him that if none of the gods were able to help him in trouble, there was the name of another god, Jesus, and he could call on Jesus and Jesus would help him. One day, Rabi was out in the fields, when a huge serpent crossed his path, the serpent’s hood was raised and ready to attack. Rabi remembered his nani (grandmother) telling him about Jesus and he called out “Jesus” loudly. At that moment, the serpent seemed to look surprised and suddenly quickly slithered away clumsily. Rabi was amazed at what he saw and from that day onwards, was determined to find out more about this “Jesus”.
Protection of Name of Jesus from Evil: In my early days of knowing Christ, I was temporarily staying in a hostel for a season in Calcutta. One evening, as I came to my room, which was shared with a few other girls, I noticed a couple of girls were busy doing some sort of ritual on the veranda. I have no idea what it was. As I was about to sleep that night, the word “evil” flashed through my mind, and suddenly I was suffocated with a blackness I had never seen before. I felt myself being dragged down far below. I was struggling to speak and struggling to move! I started trying to pray in my mind “God is great, God please help me, God who created the Heavens glory be to You!” Nothing happened and the attack continued, feeling myself suffocated and sliding down, very down, it was a “soul slide”. Finally after a long time I struggled to say, “In Jesus name, go!” Instantly that thing left me! In the early dawn, I saw a black crescent moon hanging in the air. I understood that the channel of attack had been through that. It then faded away. I learned there is power in Jesus name when we take our authority and rebuke evil telling it to leave in Jesus name. When we do so, it has to leave! We have nothing to fear when Jesus is here! We are hidden under His shadow of protection! We have spiritual authority in Jesus’ name. Call on the name of Jesus loudly and speak pray in Jesus’ name, rebuke evil in Jesus name, and ask things in Jesus’ name. In His name alone do we have spiritual authority and in our own names, we cannot have power over the supernatural! We see this in the sons of Sceva who tried to rebuke evil boldly without taking the name of Jesus, and how they were brutally attacked by the evil spirits. In Jesus’ name, we can bind spirits and cast down powers and principalities. As believers, there will be times when we are directly confronted with evil and need to rise up, bind, rebuke, and cast out all in the name of Jesus. In order to take the name of Jesus in spiritual warfare, we need to be in a relationship with Jesus we will be spiritually attacked. We see this below. Acts 19:11-17New (NKJV): 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” 16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered [b] them, and prevailed against them, [c] so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
A testimony shared by Alisa Taylor, a friend in Christ who lives in America. She learned about the power of the Blood of Christ and the power of the Name of Jesus. Read what she says below: Alisa Taylor says, “There is native American Indian in my family (Seminole tribe on my mother’s side, and not sure which tribe on my dad’s). When I was in grade school and I had sleep over parties with my girlfriends, we would play this game called “light as a feather, stiff as a board “and I would actually levitate off of the floor, and so would a couple of my friends, but not everyone could do it. I felt like I was out of my body ,and my physical body would be raised up about the height of my friends heads. Something in me knew it was wrong, but it was intriguing. I was probably between the ages of 8-12…I only did it when I had sleep over parties. One friend would be at my head, one on each side of me, and one at bottom of my feet. They each had two fingers from each hand under my body (index finger and middle finger)& the one at my head would rub my temples in a circular motion and tell a short story…After finishing the story, we would all chant “light as a feather, stiff as a board “& I would levitate. After some time, my mom found out what we were doing, and she said that we couldn’t play that game anymore. Well we still tried to play it ,but we NO longer had success…NOT of ANY kind regarding the game (later on I found out why, it was because my mom had prayed about it).
She said, ” I am not sure exactly when I got saved, but I know that I was young, I know it was during elementary school age, I didn’t fully understand it, but I did sincerely want it, and though my mom taught me and my brother The Lord’s Prayer, she didn’t really attend church with me and my brother, but looking back I know that she had a relationship with the Lord. Also during this time frame, elementary school age, I remember my mom and my brother having a fight, and it was more violent and chaotic than our normal family drama. My brother was in his room on his bed and my mom was yelling at him, and then the most scary thing I have witnessed happened, he was not himself. He appeared as if he was having an epileptic seizure, and not able to communicate anything that made sense until I heard him say “The devil has got a hold of me “and I just started praying (I am sure that my mom did too, but she didn’t out loud, she must have been overwhelmed and in shock, well I started praying in my mind, then I started praying out loud just asking Jesus to help my brother (honestly, I don’t remember what I prayed, I was just a kid, and I definitely wasn’t well versed in the scriptures or mature in my faith, but I knew Jesus loved me and my brother, and I felt His powerful presence with me). It is hard to explain, but after praying, and I can’t recall how long, but I don’t think it was long and drawn out, but I definitely remember my brother violently jerking and then amazing calm and peace rested upon him and throughout my house I came to find out later after that what had happened my brother. He told me that he “challenged the devil “had called the devil some names and said he was weak! My brother had exercised authority over the devil in Jesus name and the devil had to leave!
Alisa again shares a very recent amazing testimony in July 2017 of how Jesus revealed the power of His name to her grandson and her. She says, “Just wanted to share praise and victory (praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and victory because of Him and the power in His Name. I have been dealing with inner struggles regarding my prayer life, and therefore have not been as engaged with Him, had not prayed like I usually do. Last night, I found it very difficult to even just pray the Lord’s prayer, I couldn’t seem to finish it, then I found myself starting all over again. My little 2-year-old grandson was lying next to me (he spent the night). I was still struggling with falling asleep and praying, I finally fell into a twilight sleep and in this sleep, I had this sense of unforgiveness concerning my dad. I woke up silently praying and asking God to give me the desire and strength to forgive him. I always thought I had forgiven him! After praying about that, I looked up to the ceiling in my bedroom and saw a big black shadow with piercing yellow eyes! As I realized what it was, I felt myself and my grandson Kobe sink deep into my bed, unable to move and unable to speak (my grandson was asleep during all of this but was physically restless), not sure how long this went on, maybe only minutes, but during the whole experience, all I could think was Jesus/Yeshua…if I could just say His Name!!!..Then after some time had passed, after trying and trying to say my Lord and Savior’s Name…my mouth was opened and I barely uttered His name Jesus, it was just softly at first for I had been paralyzed spiritually and physically, but then I said it again, “Jesus”, and Kobe, my little grandson…exclaimed JESUS!!!with such a trust in his little voice, and immediately the Prince of Peace surrounded us, the heavy sinking left, the paralyzing left, the deep darkness left…all fears left…just in the power of His Name!!! and how divine is the Lord’s mighty right saving Hand upon my little grandson!!!. My prayers are being answered and effective, because my Lord and Savior is powerful and effective, and since He stands in the gap for me as my High Priest…He has made my prayers effective, because His Holy Spirit, convicts me of my sins and reminds me to ask Him for forgiveness. My brothers and sisters in Christ…always pray ,and never give up!” Alisa Taylor
The Word: Start to speak the Word of God aloud. If you can, download the Book of Revelation in the audio Bible and play it aloud. Demons hate that. Fill the atmosphere with the Word; speak aloud the promises and state who you are in Christ. Speak out the promises of the Word. Remember Christ fought Satan in the desert by the Word. Hebrews 4:12, KJV: “For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Worship: Keep singing and worshiping the Lord and play worship music aloud. Saturate the atmosphere with worship for the demons hate that and will depart. I will be sharing more on worship in the last chapters.
Prayer: In all these points, we have to learn to pray. When you pray, remember you are praying from a place of victory because Jesus has defeated all powers and principalities, forces of darkness on the Cross-, and you are in Christ, so pray as a Warrior King, Warrior Queen with your spiritual authority bequeathed to you by our Savior Jesus Christ. Before we start to pray like Kingdom Warriors, we have to be rightly aligned to the Kingdom:
Abide in Christ: Before we start interceding and praying for others, we need to be in a walking talking obeying relationship with God – aligned to the Kingdom. Abide in His shadow before we pray and intercede. We need to be in communion with the Lord. As we commune, listen to His voice speaking deep in our hearts and obey, we grow from strength to strength, glory to glory, day by day, and in His Presence, our prayers reach Heaven like sweet incense.
Covering: We need to hide ourselves in Christ and cover ourselves with His covering, the Blood covering. This is our right alignment. We need to ask for the Blood to protect us. It is a practice of faith, not superstition. The devil wants us to think we are being superstitious and doctrinally wrong so we would never appropriate the protection of the Blood. From the Old Testament, the blood always signified protection, as when they applied blood on the doorposts the angel of death passed over and did not destroy those homes. This is very crucial in spiritual battle. With our Blood covering, Satan, the accuser of the brethren cannot attack us. We need to clothe ourselves with the heavenly armor, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel, the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one and the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit.
Ask a prayer partner to join you or pray with a group – these prayers are powerful: When we pray and intercede, there are a few things to remember because this is not simple praying but we are coming against powers and principalities. It is advisable to pray in a group when praying strong prayers, especially if it involves higher powers. If God has called you to be an intercessor, an intercessor can often stand alone and pray for nations without repercussions of evil attacks, but I have known people who have prayed against powers and principalities and got very weak and sick after that, simply because they were not in the Presence of the Lord at that time. We cannot pray for nations and intercede if we have anger, rage, unforgiveness, envy etc., because we are standing on sinking sands, and will surely be swallowed in! The enemy is waiting for our flesh to show up.
Bind and Loosen: We can pray for the tide of evil to be bound, held, and evil to be loosened out of its stronghold to be thrown out where Christ wills it to be thrown and cast down. Strongholds in countries need to be bound and even thrown out. Often for such strong prayers, we need to be praying along with others.
Release: We can pray God to release and send out His warrior angels all over the Earth, to fight, to protect, and to cast out the evil, to protect the poor, persecuted people and each one of us.
To the Four Corners of Your Dwellings and the Ends of the Earth: We can pray that God the angels will protect the four corners of our homes and the Holy Spirit to cover the Earth with His glory, to the ends of the Earth. Pray for the strongholds in nations to be broken. Name them if you see them. Example, idolatry, lust, murder, etc. If the Presence of the Holy Spirit does not descend on a nation like the cloud of His Presence, little much can happen. We have seen in history, when people prayed, wonderful things happened I have prayed much through all these times, and darkness leaves for a long season, until if I was resting in a season of comfortably calm without hardly any prayer life, doing my own things, some creature would return. To battle this, I have learned warrior prayers from others, and chartered my own. I am sharing a prayer here, which is just a guideline. You could prayer your own prayers as the Spirit leads you or follow this outline praying in your own way.
Dear Father in Heaven, All glory belongs to You, I praise and worship You, Jesus Christ and welcome You Holy Spirit. Help me to pray this prayer through You. Clean my soul, thank You for the Blood. Remove all the debris from my life. Holy Spirit, I welcome You to work in me. Father, this home belongs to You. I ask that You sanctify the home and the air, and cleanse it of all evil things. I pray that You assign warrior angels at the doorposts and four corners of this home. May Your holy angels accompany each family member, our going and our coming into the home, covered by the Blood of Jesus. May no unclean thing attach itself to spouse or my parents, children, or me as we go out. Protect and deliver us from the evil influences of the world. By the Blood of Christ, I command every evil spirit to depart and throw them to the pits to be bound in Jesus’ name. Bind them there in chains so that they cannot re-enter my home or wander to anyone else’s home. Father, I bind the spirit of Satanism and witchcraft and cast the demons operating through those practicing to the pits in Jesus Name. May You nullify all their curses against us, and reverse the curses. Father I pray that the person hexing or sending these evil spirits to my home come under Your authority. Destroy their curses, hexes, works of darkness, chits, mutterings, curses, paper writings, patterns of sticks, candles, crystal balls and all their demonic gadgets and burn them up with the Holy Fire of Heaven. Father, may these sorcerers be confined in Your hedge so that they cannot practice evil black magic anymore. Bring them to a place of repentance and salvation and if they resist, may they be judged so that they cannot harm or hurt more people. Destroy the origins of their black magic and bring down their strongholds, in Yeshua’s name. Father we pray that all stronghold of demons be destroyed, and scattered, so that they cannot group together to cause more harm and evil. Father right now, I renounce and reject any inch of property that has been yielded to Satan in this house, and by faith, I take it back and surrender it to Jesus Christ. I surrender my family, children, and all that is in this house to You Jesus. By faith, I claim that the Blood of Jesus cover the walls of this home, the flooring, the doorposts, and windows.”
Now go to every room, some people put oil on the doorposts or sprinkle water in every room, and say this prayer:
I dedicate and consecrate this home to the Lord Jesus Christ and Satan has no hold over this home or over our lives. I claim all the doors, walls, windows, electrical wiring, plumbing, pipes, roof, top to bottom and anything between and anything that conducts electricity are all under the Blood and authority and rule of Jesus Christ. I bind every evil spirit operating in this house, rebuke it, and send it to the pits by the authority of Jesus Christ given to me. Father, I claim and pray that this house be surrounded by a wall of fire, a hedge of protection, warrior angels guarding us, and under the Blood of Jesus from the roof to the flooring to the wiring, and the air. Father may Your warrior angels stand at the four corners of this home and protect and fight for us within, and cast out all spirits roaming in this home to the pits. I praise You Father for You have done this, I praise You Jesus for the position I have in You, surround me with Your presence, and keep me strong through this. Holy Spirit I adore You and thank You for Your guidance. Continue to pray through me and show me what I need to pray for. Cover our minds with the Blood of Jesus and with the helmet of salvation so that we cannot receive anything from the spirits. We are hid in Christ. Hide us from Satan and his demons, under the Blood so they cannot see us, hear us or find us. I ask this prayer in the mighty matchless Name of Jesus Christ. Amen, amen, amen!
Praying this way has greatly brought breakthrough. Sometimes, it stirs up dirty water so more muck might come out initially, but don’t give up, keep praying and you will see a shining breakthrough!
