The meaning of healing is cure, healing, soothing, remedy, balm. Healing is called Iaomai or iaomai in Greek (Strong’s Number 2390).
There are three ways that God heals us as revealed in the Bible:
In times of sorrow, the Holy Spirit starts to pour in His healing and comfort, in times of illness, He supernaturally touches and heals people, whose hearts are towards God. Many times, healing comes without asking. I have been healed of pain, sorrow and even physical healing just by being in His presence, that pours down like rain, and I have not even asked Him. This is called supernatural healing by and in Presence!
The other way is by praying and simply asking Him and in response to our hard-knocking prayers, He sends healing. He rewards our faith and answers our prayers. This is called healing through faith.
The third way is by repentance, which means Change of Mind. We decide we want to change and in that decision, God rewards us by healing us, delivering us and blessing us! Repentance releases God spiritual and physical gifts for us. This is called the healing through the gifts of repentance.
Today, our nations are torn and divided. We need healing in our nations. This healing can only come through repentance. There is simply no other way. The history of nations which repented proved the supernatural blessing on that nation. The Industrial Revolution of England was brought on by Spiritual Repentance and Revival and England became the most powerful nation in the world at that time. In the USA, the very foundation of the Constitution was on the Bible and America was a nation close to God. It was at that time that God blessed America and became the most powerful nation in the world. Today, America has gone far from God and we see its decline . Remember, we have been healed from wounds in the past, we can heal again, but the formula Call Unto God, and repent!
May we be in His presence always to receive His loving presence and also His supernatural healing.
May we pray for healing and He will heal for He loves us and wants to heal us, this is in His Divine Will, but often we don’t draw near to Christ, so we never experience His riches, fullness and healing for our lives.
May we and our nations repent to have blessing and healing upon our nations.
