Understanding our tripartite being helps us to divide asunder our body, soul and spirit and to divide flesh from spirit discern body, soul and spirit and our spiritual being.
“And God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Gen. 2.7). When Yahweh God first created the first man, He formed him out of dust and breathed life “the breath of life” into his nostrils. This became man’s human spirit. When the breath of life, man’s spirit, came into contact with man’s body, the soul was produced. The soul consists of man’s body and spirit. The Bible calls this a living soul.” This breath of life comes from Yahweh.
The original of the word “life” in “breath of life” is chay.
The breath of life became man’s spirit; Jesus says “It is the spirit that gives life” (John 6.63). A human’s spirit is not God’s Holy Spirit.
Romans 8.16 “It is the Spirit Himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” It is thought that the in-breathing of God produced a spiritual and soulical life.
With the breath of God entering Adam’s body it became the spirit of man (Zoe life) and man’s spirit linking with his body created the soul. The body is the most base and to dust it will return.
With the Fall, God blocked Adam’s path to the Tree of Life (Zoe Life). Humans search for Salvation of their souls through hundreds of methods. The Bible teaches us that fallen people need to attain the Tree of Life (Jesus Christ). Then saved, we receive Zoe life. The Tree of Life symbolizes Perfected Adam (through Christ, God sees us perfect). This is called “Born Again” with Zoe life, when we receive Christ on our salvation
This human spirit in its own natural self is not God’s Holy Spirit Life, for “The breath of the Almighty gives me life” (Job 33.4).
.When we are born again through Christ, we receive the Life of God.
Our human spirit without the Holy Breath of God can never die and exists forever, but without the Breath of God, it is empty and void of eternal life in God.
Our spirits are supposed to rule over our bodies and our soul in connection with the source..GOD. God designed us in such a way that we could connect with Him in spirit. It was almost like a golden invisible cord that supernaturally connected us to the Creator God.
The Creator God made humans with a desire to have fellowship with us. Pure fellowship was blocked with God once Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree and the golden cord was cut forever until Christ came back to restore that broken fellowship. He did this by dying on the Cross, taking our sins upon Himself, so we now atoned for, could reconnect in a rich fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit now indwelling us.
The curse of the Fall was that many do not want to connect to the Creator today. The forbidden tree in the Bible is also representative of not only insatiable hunger for knowledge but also a craving in humans to connect with forces to enlighten themselves and glow in magic as they think!
Once that forbidden fruit was eaten, some humans developed a craving to connect with the forces in the universe and they found mysterious pathways and channels to do so because suddenly, the spirit within them was enlarged, but instead of praying to God the Creator, as a few did in those times, such as Abraham, the others started to connect to the forces of the universe. They connected to spirits, beings they thought were angels, spirits of nature and other forces that revealed themselves to them that they called spirit guides. Because their spirits were enlarged and swollen, it was easier for them to connect to the spirit world, unlike the other humans. This was the birth of so many religions and teachings.
The enlarged spirits belong to the sorceresses and the witches. They can connect with the supernatural realm of the second heaven, but they do so through evil spirits, not by the Holy Spirit. Many of them will not admit it or even recognize it because the spirits they connect to seem very good. This is especially so in black and white magic.
The spirit of the fallen human thus connects with Satan and his evil spirits, dead to God yet very much alive to Satan and follows the evil spirits which is now at work in them. The body bows down to passions and lusts and the soul has become a slave to the body. There is a broken harmony, broken hell harp strings playing a haunting melody This is why God says in the Bible, “My Spirit shall not always plead with Man; for he indeed is flesh” That haunting melody is like the tune of the Pied Piper of Hamlin memorizing millions with that haunting melody to the chambers of death.
Babylon was the first city on earth which was the mother of sorcery and black magic. Pretty much all that comes today from white, black magic, Satanism, occultism, shamanism, occult practices came from Babylon. Babylon while a physical place became the seat of black magic out of which rose spirits, which spread to the world. While the city modern Iraq is not evil in its location, in spiritual propensity, a stronghold of black magic is holding the world in chains today.
Revelation: So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
18 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. 2 With a mighty voice he shouted:
“‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’[a]
She has become a dwelling for demons
and a haunt for every impure spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.
3 For all the nations have drunk
the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”
As from here, we know that nations drank from the supernatural magic of Babylon, which is why, the spiritual darkness of nations and magic will be judged at the end of Earth’s clock.
The reason for the judgment is because our inward man has fallen into chaos, while outward body must die and be destroyed. A human apart from God falls under the oppression of the soul until it gradually merged with the soul and the two parts became closely united. The writer of Hebrews declares in 4.12 that the Word of God shall pierce and divide soul and spirit. The dividing is necessary because spirit and soul have become one. While they are intimately knit they drag humans into a psychic world. In the psychic world, all spirits can appear to us, but they will deceive us. They will tell us things merged with half truths and half lies. This is why the world today is immersed in darkness, evil, arson, killing, violence, hatred, chaos, greed, lust, etc.
