September 6- Trust in God
Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths”
The foundation of our spiritual walk is faith, and the person who walks by faith often cannot understand things at that given moment. But faith is rewarded in its time. As we believe in Him, He works behind the smoky screens forming things out of naught.
The Holy Spirit gives us His Holy unction as we walk through the dark nights, the silver dawns, and the mellow evenings. He grips our hearts with peace beyond understanding in situations that we don’t fathom.
Sometimes years later, we understand or rejoice in God’s divine choices that at first we cried and complained about. He knows all, the beginning from the end, the Alpha and the Omega. He sees the path from the beginning to the end. At times, He makes the path so narrow that you have no choice but to walk alone with Him. There may not be other friends or family at that time, but though you cannot see it, that path is clean, pure, glowing and no unclean spirit can accompany you.
In that season, you are stretching, and growing and learning to trust Him more. You will finally reach a realm where nothing makes you afraid and by trusting and obeying, your trust in Him will be richly rewarded. The darkness will be removed, and His Light will your deliverance power, not only for you, but for many others!
