September 28 – Jewels in the Dark
Isaiah 45:3: I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.”
One night, we went for a walk near the house and across was a field, and to my delight after decades, I saw fireflies flashing on the field, one of my beauties from nature. The fireflies reminded me that through all the dark events that may happen to us at different times in our lives, people may be difficult, things may break down, we may lose friends, people may misunderstand us, we may be sick or loved ones be sick or we may even lose loved one…God still has jewels in the dark for us.
Jewels in the Dark that God showed Me:
The first jewel I had with me which was a powerful lifeline was prayer. In our deep connection to Christ, we experienced breakthrough. In these events, we experienced the delivering and redeeming effects of prayer.
The second jewel is the Holy Spirit in our situations with us, pouring out grace, comfort, peace, love, mercy and strength. This is if we choose Him in our darkness as we did.
The third jewel is the comfort of the Word, the promises we held on to which come alive for us as we lived in it and practiced the Word.
The fourth jewel is the precious remnant warriors in God, you, who pray faithfully, for us, we pray for one another, strengthening each other, upholding each other and believing for one another. In the remnant warriors, there is no room for competition, because each of us wants to see breakthrough and victory for the other.
There are many more jewels in the dark that God will show you personally. The Holy Spirit will ignite those jewels to you according to your situations. It may be Word from the Bible that gives you an extra shot of strength, empowering you in a new way, a word from a friend to deliver you through the anointing of the Spirit, a beautiful rainbow, a field of flowers, a rushing stream or a diamond-studded night sky that gave you a fresh message from God.
Jewels in the dark are the special messages that God gives you in the hard times, special strength He pours upon you.
Jewels in the dark are the sparkling lights in God that blaze new Truths in difficult times to energize you to walk with His zeal and fire beyond your natural capacity.
