Pierce the darkness with awareness of His Light. We have to rise up, and pray without ceasing.
DARKNESS AND DECEPTION IS INCREASING
The Book of Proverbs in the Bible always calls us to be wise, and prudent, not simpletons. We have to be alert and awake at all times. In the story of the ten bridesmaids, five were ready, five were sleeping, drowsy and unprepared, they did not get their reward, and the painful truth was the Bridegroom left them behind.
One of the greatest ways to be an effective prayer warrior is to have a deep relationship with Christ and an intense prayer life. That would automatically lead us to obey and practice the Word and walk in obedience to Him. Our simple prayers ignited from Him are heard and answered swiftly.
We need to pray as never before. We are living in a time when we need an awakening. The hour of evil is rising when we see senseless killing, arson, shootouts, rapes, lawlessness, and godlessness with consciousness seared and smeared with the blood of innocents. There is no remorse, regret, or conviction in this new brand of people rising. Unlike the safe warm days of our youth, today, we can never let our children venture out down the streets ambling around to look for something from a nearby store. Times have grimly changed and we cannot turn back the clock.
Adding to all the chaotic paraphernalia, we are living in a day when some Christians are teaching that the Bible has errors and so they are bringing out new theories with claim of new scripture texts found in caves to mold the Bible to their convenience. There is no validation on these new scripture findings, but these false theories floating around have influenced masses and are taught in “upgraded Bible seminaries”.
Some Christians do not want to go deeper with Christ because they are comfortable with doing what they are doing. Many think they can get anyway with anything because they are saved by grace through the Blood. However, we also have a judgment for believers called the Bema Seat where Christians will receive or lose rewards and deeply regret their misdeeds and sins of omission, and it will not be easy for them. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ (Bema seat); that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
There is great loss if we have lived wrong on earth. Though we may manage to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, there will be regrets over things we omitted to do or the bad that we did. I Corinthians 3:15: If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as fire
SATAN’S STRATEGIES TO HARM US:
Satan sends demons our way to start clouding our vision. This is his foremost strategy! We suddenly lose the edge of things, and get loose, light, compromised, and weak. Christians who used to be prayer warriors are losing their fire and forgetting how to pray. They are letting things happen to them, thinking God is allowing it. This is the work of the demons sent to make us sluggish and dull.
Once a Christian stops praying or prays very less, they enter into another dimension, gray and shady, where suddenly they perceive things differently. Position, power, money, and recognition may grip some of them. We have often seen simple, powerful believers suddenly changing with a new rise in position to be more world-centric than God-centric.
In the spiritual realms, demons hover around a believer who is weak in prayer and starts to cloud spiritual insight and vision: Satan sends mind blinding and mind binding demons to us. The mind-blinding demons keep us from seeing the Truths of God, dull us from understanding the Bible and clog us from seeing things clearly. We see things in a distorted way and we start compromising big time or we just cannot see things through the Holy Spirit.
The mind-binding demons block our thinking processes. We are blocked spiritually. These demons have kept parts of our mind in bondage. We feel tied up, tight, stressed, and angry all the time because we cannot healthily work out our thought processes.
The enemy does not want healing or deliverance for us, so he keeps us in this state in limbo land.
John 12:40: 40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,So that I should heal them.
In all this, we are ignominiously unaware of how we are being watched in the unseen world. The unseen world is where angels work behind the scenes, God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit and Satan, his fallen angels and his demons intently watch our activities, and our movements and decisions pay heavy overload into our lives to impact us, change us, break us or take us.
Jesus died, rose and is now seated in the Heavens, He equips us with power and authority in Heavenly places and we have to be willing to rise every single morning and take His resources, and go through the day using His Divine authority to cast down the works of darkness and bind and loosen in Christ’s name.
Ephesians 2:6 New King James Version (NKJV): 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
The demons want us de-robed with wicks untrimmed. If we live apart from Christ even though we are born again, as many Christians do, this is what happens:
The oil is our lamps get dry because we don’t get our supply from the Holy Spirit in a relationship with Him. Remember, we can do nothing apart from the Holy Spirit. He renews our strength, ignites, and empowers us. I notice that whenever I commune and talk with the Holy Spirit, my “batteries” suddenly get charged up, I see things in a different way, I pray in a renewed way with new energy. The Holy Spirit renews our physical strength too as well charging up our spiritual lives.
Our wicks are untrimmed symbolizing our lives are often sooty and messy, not organized, robeless and defenceless in the unseen world who watches us either with pity from the angels or evil glee from the demons.
As we are de-robed, we become vulnerable and weak in the spiritual realm, we fall prey to all suggestions and lusts of the flesh, fade away defeated at every turn, being targets of the enemies’ arrows all the time.
Demons flood our mind with racing thoughts and we may feel God is giving us these thoughts, but if these thoughts are driving us to do things to the point of stress, then it is demons. The “racing thought-pattern demons” inundates our thought lives to keep us far from God.
Always beware of a driving force that makes you do things rushing and racing, and feeling that if you did not, God could not accomplish His plans. This is untrue and from the enemy. God will accomplish what He has to and He will strengthen you to do it or raise up others to do it, but it should never feel pushed or piled on you like a yoke.
Identify the wave patterns in your brain and you will know which force is behind it.
When God speaks, the Holy Spirit will ignite your thoughts, with the fire of His presence, with a sense of peace and empowerment for what you need to do. As you do it, He will confirm it through many ways and you will find the doors open. However, sometimes the enemy can try to block the plan of God. The Holy Spirit will show you the difference.
Satan gets us to a place of isolation. Satan drives us to be lone rangers where either there is no fellowship of believers around us or we cannot find any church that we feel comfortable. He often gets us to leave churches because we don’t like something in a church, get offended and leave or keeps us sick and tired so we cannot fellowship with others. Finally, exhausted trying to go to church, we eventually quit going.
When I was a new believer, I was a regular churchgoer, and I always felt protected and shielded. Then a decade later, I had many setbacks in the church I was going. Deeply hurt and disappointed, I stopped going to church for a few years.
I literally felt the presence of darkness in the city I was living in at that time, and I was isolated and wounded. I tried out other churches, but they did not “work out”. The spiritual attacks, pain, and troubles I underwent were tremendous and I came to a place where I wondered if I was born again and if God had abandoned me.
In time, I cried unto God for the right church. God answered my prayer and gave us a beautiful Spirit-filled church, but the wait was long, and I had a lot to learn in the waiting!
Satan and his demons want to pin us down to destroy us: Finally, in our state of isolation, loneliness, and vulnerability, they often succeed. Many Christians start to get death wishes, depression, and keep wanting to die, or longing to escape the Earth. They may have given up the good fight, and are just weary and tired, waiting to die. Others have taken the drastic step of suicide. Suicide is designed by the devil to take people away from Earth before their time.
Over the years, I have understood that the enemy always keeps us in a state of unpreparedness, physical tiredness, overworking, so we are rarely on top of things, readily overcome with the slightest trials.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD
In the last days, there will be another greatest awakening for the Bible says, Acts 2:17: “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”
In the end, in Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”.
Until now, we have been preaching the Gospel of Repentance/Salvation, which is to believe on Jesus Christ, who saves you and gives you eternal life.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is different! It will be preached now in greater measures in the last days. What is the Gospel of the Kingdom? The Gospel of the Kingdom is the preaching of Christ’s birth on Earth, His death, burial, His resurrection, His ascension, His return, overthrow of Satan and his demons. Christ here establishes the thousand years Millennial rule, final destruction of Satan and his followers in the Lake of Fire. In the final round, He establishes the eternal Kingdom, as Heaven comes down on Earth, the New Jerusalem where all His children from all over the Earth dwell, every tribe and nation. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom and will be preached and presented in its fullness.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
One of the biggest tricks of the devil is to keep us unbelieving, thinking these things will not happen. He keeps us unprepared and busy with other things in life, so we are not heaven-bound, but rather earth-bound vessels of clay hurriedly running to the call of Earth rather than of Heaven.
We cannot be overly obsessed with the devil and the kingdom of darkness, but a rich prayer life led by the Holy Spirit makes all the difference and delivers us from the hosts of darkness against us. We have personally experienced great victory and refreshing change after we understood and applied spiritual warfare praying.
This is why God wants us to take the pathway of Kingdom Warriors: Being always prepared with oil in our lamps, wicks trimmed and lamps burning bright, we are never drowsy in the dawn. Pierce the darkness with awareness of His Light. We have to rise up, and pray without ceasing.
