October 1 – Beyond Ego
Ephesians 1:18 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”
The end times are here. The clock is still ticking away as we witness prophesies in the Bible start to become fulfilled. Time is short, yet many times, we are embroiled in the petty things in life. Caught in the rigmarole of our complicated lives, we rarely look at the spiritual realm or really seek Christ. Miracles happen when we open ourselves to His workings.
Allow Him to change you and He will change your life and circumstances. If we die to ego and self, a sudden supernatural wind rests over us. In that sudden silence, we begin to perceive things differently. Our shouting human voices in our brains get silenced. We see. In His understanding, these changes happen:
The first step to receiving His life is crucify our ego. The biggest fruit of ego is anger. Today, all the wars fought on social media and the world are really ego wars. We want to show them who is in control! Anger rooted in our soul gets rooted out. Suddenly we realize we were being very petty. We let it go and get joy and peace. We have to receive the new prophetic flow now from Him as we bask in His presence.
In this new peace, the atmosphere for physical healing is conducive. We receive healing, and even depression, addictions are broken.
As we crucify our ego, we start to receive the hope of why we were born and called by God, we fulfill our purpose for living in this life. We receive the riches of His glory, wonderful new things, and we see into the supernatural.
Then now, we are moving into new realms of His glory where He keeps changing us and increasing the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. He anoints us only to bring blessing, breakthrough and salvation to the others. It starts with crucifying the flesh.
