July 7 – Spring Rain
Zechariah 10:1 Ask rain from the LORD at the time of the spring rain– The LORD who makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man
As we continue to walk with God, He sends the Rains and, in that Rain, Divine breakthroughs start to flood our lives! The greatest miracle is we start to get empowered to live a sin-free life, unhindered by the weeds of rage, lust, jealousy, ambition, greed, that clog up our spiritual life.
John 7:38: Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’
Ephesians 5:26: To sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the Word.
John 7: 38-39: “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow Rivers of Living Water.'”
God wants us to ask for the rains of refreshing in our lives, the rains of awakening, the rains of washing, not only for ourselves, but to take a step further and ask for the nations! James 5:7 “Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.”
It all starts with simple asking of the Lord.
In a nutshell:
When we start to commune with the Lord, a miracle is birthed is that you get a beautiful connect with the Lord and the Heavens open.
You start to plant seeds in your soul when you commune with Jesus and the Holy Spirit
In time, it starts to rain and the seeds in your life start to grow. You will get fresh love again, fresh wind and fresh fire.
God starts reveals His plans to us.
In this refreshing walk, He starts to deal with areas of weakness in our lives, and we start getting free in different areas.
It all starts with simple asking.
Eventually, you are able to think beyond yourself and pray for others and eventually nations all because of the empowering of the Holy Spirit working inside you and reviving you again.
