July 28 – Silently Wait
On an average day, we are hurried, rushed, overworked, overtired, and stressed out 95% of the time, so we never take the time to enter a place of quietness and rest.
We need to wait upon God, just waiting and waiting without doing anything, without saying anything, without thinking anything, just basking in His Presence in adoration of Him, no words, nothing. Once we silence the perturbation and racing thoughts in our minds in worship, then whoosh… Peace arrives; the Presence of His Person arrives and when He arrives! Whew! Wonders happen, deep internal emotional healing happens, He fills the holes in our soul and starts to make us whole. The Creator and Maker does it for us inside. On the outside, miracles happen around us and we see manifestation of physical healing and in the spiritual realm, we see conviction of sin and souls turn to God. All because we chose to personally bask in the Presence of the Lord, waiting on Him silently, and have a deep relational walk with Him daily.
