July  25 – Under His Shadow of Communion

Throughout the year 2015, the words “shadow of His wings” brought great release and comfort in my times of meditation. The amazing wonder was that on New Years Eve 2016, Pastor Solomon in Bangalore also spoke a wonderful message about dwelling under the shadow of God’s wings, abiding and hiding there, reconfirming my meditation thoughts making me aware that this was a truth that was very important to God.

Under that shadow, we are protected mightily. Peter dwelt in the Presence of God, and when his shadow fell on the people, they got healed! Such change can happen when we dwell under His Shadow.

The very same dwelling under His shadow protects us from harm, danger, evil, accidents, and untoward events and even protects our relationships, our life, saves us from an early death, and the plenteous paraphernalia that could unsettle or lives, perhaps forever. We may think some evil things are destined for us through the will of God, but I do believe a lot of untoward things can be avoided through abiding in Christ. The old destroyer wants to steal, kill and destroy. Surely it is not the will of God that all these ugly things happen to us. Of course, when it does happen, it is our greatest comfort to say God allowed it, and perhaps He did because He wanted to get our attention, but why let it happen in the first place. Let Him have your attention all the time –Dwell in His Presence!

In His Light, we see Light. Our gray-zoned minds are unveiled and only then can we see the supernatural realm to understand situations and events beyond our natural limited perspective.

Whenever I am in a walking, talking communion relationship with the Lord, I see change around me. It never fails to amaze me. Even in the family, even with others, wonderful change starts to spring forth and situations start to change, and new roads start to open up.

On the other hand, if I spent hours praying about the same thing in desperation, not much seems to happen. Why? Simple! Because when we start to seek Him, His Presence surrounds us like a shield, and this mighty Presence who is the Person of Christ in the Holy Spirit, things start to change things around us.

John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
