HM Amit Shah on addressing an election rally in Ludhiana, indicates he will throw out converters from Punjab to protect Sikhs and Hindus.
Amit Shah strikes out at Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for “ruining” Punjab. Seeking votes in the name of work done by PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah in his provocative speech against CM Channi of Punjab also pitched to target Christians although he did not mention, “Christian” the suggestions in his speech are obvious because Christians have been recently attacked for accusations of forced conversions, an allegation which can never be proved.
He said, “Friends, today I have come before you. In Punjab, there is a big concern, religion, for Sikhs and for Hindus. Channi Sahab cannot help you there. Saab stop conversions? No, who can stop conversions of Hindus and Sikhs, only BJP can stop it; and if BJP comes to power, all the converters will be thrown out of Punjab!”

pic.twitter.com/NH2gRTwSF3 — Amit Shah (@AmitShah) February 13, 2022
Targeting Christians with his words will trigger random persecutions to innocent Christians in false cases of conversion. Could a home minister threaten to throw out Punjab Christians from Punjab? Is this his duty is the question.
The duty of a home minister is to protect the people of a nation. He is one of the senior-most officers in the Union Cabinet, the chief responsibility of the Home Minister is the maintenance of India’s internal security; the country’s large police force comes under its jurisdiction.
Amit Shah, the home minister of India, is apparently using his high position to divide communities that are destabilizing the nation, just to garner votes, which is a sad day for India.
Commenting on conversion, the ISKON, Hare Khrisna Movements, Arya Samaj are active and evangelical in approach in the West but are pushing for suppression of minorities in the East. The BJP is also using the Tanjavur Girl’s very tragic suicide to twist and push the right-wing’s lopsided prejudiced unfair narrative and new evidence is rising in this case, which will be revealed. It is strange that a government is at war with citizens of other religions. It is the obligation of a government to protect its citizens.
Should a new rule be made that Prime Ministers and Home Ministers not be allowed to campaign in elections? It is their duty is to protect all citizens of the nation equally, not to threaten people of different religions. It is a sad time for India.
