February 29 – Communion Prayer
2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Communion is key for developing a powerful walk with God, this is when our prayers are heard faster than the traveling of light! Do what works for you, but this has personally helped me, so I am sharing this with you.
Praise and Worship: Start with Worship! Psalm 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. This is so simple and yet so powerful and life-transforming. Just start praising Him and thanking Him as the very first step and this will release all your tensions. You will go beyond yourself to think of Him and that is when miracles and transformation happens. There is power in praise! As you keep praising the Lord rising from your heart, a warmth and joy will fill your soul. This may not happen immediately for some of us, because there could be much internal pain and wounds, but over time as you continue, the healing balm will soak your soul. Praise has a potential in spiritual warfare to break the bonds and bands of evil entwined in our lives. After praise, you will enter a deeper higher realm of worship which is simply adoring the Lord, loving Him not for what He does for you, but simply because He is who He is. The great I Am. This is the highest form of worship where we deeply concentrate on God Himself.
Read the Bible: Open the Bible and read. Let spiritual truth fill and flood your thoughts to change your perspectives and clear the channels in your mind. The Word of God has a cleansing power to wash the soul. Ephesians 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the Word. Once you are in the Spirit after praising the Lord, you become spiritually tuned in to the Lord and the Word of God will become alive and powerful. Verses will literally burn your soul lighting you up with a new fire and zeal. The Bible is alive, powerful and transformative as you read it after worship.
Pray and Commune: In prayer, we simply welcome the Holy Spirit to help us to pray and ignite our prayers. The Holy Spirit is the precious gift given to us on Earth to help us walk this life on Earth with power and victory. Yet millions of us do not welcome Him or speak with Him as a Person, He is a person. 2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. We invite the Holy Spirit to take over, to commune with us, to direct us, to teach us, to lead us, to illumine some truth and He will; He will take over, and that becomes the transforming moment in our lives.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, who is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
We cannot physically pray for everyone all the time, but through constant communion with God, we will be open to the Spirit’s leading to pray for different people at different times. Amazing things happen when we commune with the Lord through the day through the Golden Cord Connection, praying, worshiping, and talking to God.
