August 7 He Shall Make Your Path Straight
Proverbs 3:6: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
A crooked path means a devious path equivalent to dishonest, deviant, deceptive, dishonest and deceitful. The world value weighs its strength in crookedness. People often say that in order to be successful, we have to be a little crooked! Today, can you discern whether you are walking on a crooked path or a straight path?
If we hide our wrongs, we will take a crooked path. A crooked path takes a detour feeling we need to do it to save ourselves. But we don’t realize the boomerangs off a crooked path, and here are some of them:
Dead ends, blind alleys, rough roads, rocky terrain and steep, treacherous hills, pits, traps, and snake holes. Crooked pathways start becoming uncomfortable because we have to keep hiding, keep making fake profiles, keep lying about ourselves.
In crooked paths, we make alliances with crooked people. This is where the dark deeds of midnight transpire. This pathway is dark, misty and we cannot hear Truth’s voice through the fog.
Caught in a web of blackmail, we cannot get out. These people we made alliances start to control our lives. The most frightening thing in life is to live like a slave to another in control and manipulation and fear.
People who walk in crooked paths get murdered more easily. They get into some deal and even if they want to leave, the perpetrator does not let them, threatening to expose them. Dark shady alleys always leave shadowy legacies and death is at their doorstep.
Pure peace comes from walking on the straight pathway.
This road is smooth, clean and shining and it is easy because we don’t have to lie to ourselves or others.
Light pours upon the pathway with no fog and smog. The Voice of Truth is heard easily in our hearts because the air is so clear and there are no negative vibes to block our ears and eyes.
Even if someone tries to blackmail us, we shake them off like a dirty rat. The Lion of Judah rises in us and we roar with an anointed roar and all the pests, demons and unclean things cannot walk in this pathway.
We have to make a choice to walk on the clean pathway. This straight pathway is called the Highway of Holiness: Isaiah 35:8: A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray.” Obstacles will be removed on this road through His power. He always makes twisted roads straight! Chose to walk clean, remove even the shadow of a wicked thought, and this Highway of Holiness will glint with gold, accompanied by angels and the Holy Spirit.
