August 30 – Clothed in Light
Isaiah 60:1,2 – “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth. And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice.”
As we walk in purity, we start to glow! Do you believe that God and the angels see us glowing. Even the demons see and tremble. They know when we are God’s vessels of honor and dare not to mess with us, unless they get special permission from God for a time of trial, which is rare. God may send us trials to test us and strengthen further, but not to toss us around like hay as the devil would love to do! In our walk with God, our shining draws His presence and glory more upon us. In the dark land of the spiritually dead, our light combined with His glory is released out into the atmosphere. Suddenly, people connected to us and around us start having breakthrough. Isaiah 60 comes alive for them and for us.
We have to realize in spirit who we are in spirit, heirs to the Kingdom, princes and princess, priesthoods of a royal order, warriors and overcomers.
Trust Him unwaveringly and we will never be disappointed. “Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:6-8
Some of us are still sleeping, so we never appropriate this greater walk, to rise up and shine and draw the living dead unto Christ. The Bible says, ‘Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.'” – Ephesians 5:14
Right now, we need to remove all stumbling blocks, cast aside everything that holds us in captive, our hurts, anger, people who block us and try to stop us. Sometimes, we need to rise and resist and God will cause us to rise and shine.
Right now, we are living in the days of pitch blackness! In this blackness, people will see our light because of the deep frightening darkness all around us. The wonder of this is, people know something is wrong, they sense the presence of evil, they know their minds are foggy and so, people are open to God! They want God and are searching for Him. As we walk on Earth, shining with His light, people know we are the children of the Father of Lights. Moses stretched his hand toward the sky, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. They didn’t see one another, and nobody rose from their place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings in Exodus 10:22-23. Jesus is called the Light of the World! He removes the darkness.
