August 23 – Angelic Protection Every Day
Psalm 91:11: For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Be wise to pray for angelic protection each day. The Lord waits for us to call upon Him and ask Him for angelic protection every day of our lives and how it is imperative that we call on angelic assistance, protection, deliverance daily as the Spirit shows us!
Every child of God has at least one guardian angel, and some have more depending on the battle situations they are in. Again, there are different kinds of angels, warrior, arch angels, worshiping angels and others. Guardian angels are given to guide and protect you throughout various stages of your life. Your guardian angel is specifically appointed for you. A warrior angel is sent to fight for you and protect you through a spiritual battle.
God wants to shield and protect you, every minute of your life, sheltering you from storms and attacks. He longs to hear you calling on Him for help, protection and assistance. It is a matter of choice; we often go through life without asking for help, angelic assistance from our Father.In Gethsemane, Jesus said Matthew 26:53: Do you think I cannot call on My Father, and He will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? Only the hour was different, this was the hour of Jesus time to die, so He did not call on those angels, He could have, but He did not. Yet even in that dark dismal hour, angels came to assist Christ. In the Gethsemane Garden, an angel comes to strengthen Christ and right after being strengthened by this mighty angel, Christ gets up, and walks with courage to face the ordeal that awaits Him.
Mathew 18:10 reads: “See that you do not look down on any of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of My Father in heaven.” This is Christ speaking on behalf of not only little children but all who belong to God and this is our privilege. Let us ask God for angels to surround us, minister to us, protect and strengthen us.
Around six years back, I was on my veranda looking out one evening when at around 6:30 p.m. I saw a sudden flash in the sky of huge heavenly beings flying across the sky, majestic, glorious and they looked as if they were on a mission. I felt the glory of God fill me with awe…Angels have such love that emanate to us. This awesome experience left me reeling and gleaning and searching more about angels and how they operate around us supernaturally in a natural world.
We can void so much evil and harm when we pray to God to send His angels and also the Holy Spirit’s daily guidance will show us greater things in God’s Kingdom and give us wisdom when we need to pray for special angelic protection especially when the war is thick! God is faithful and will deliver us out of so much evil and darkness especially for our dear brothers and sisters who face the arrows of persecution, the angels will protect you and fight for you.
