August 11 – The Whip of Rage
Psalm 37:8-9: Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. 9 For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
.The epidemic of anger is destroying nations. People are so angry. The lynching, beating on the streets in India, shootouts in USA, mowing down of people by trucks. These are not normal days. A cop gets angry and shoots a civilian! We never heard of people taking the law into their hands before. Today, we are stunned to see series of different videos of people in India who kept beating others up and many of the victims died. There was once a person who had a near death experience and was taken to hell. The demons in that place kept beating up people with big handsor whips. In that vision, when that person called Jesus, He appears in blazing light and took that person away. Thus, demons put rage in people too. They plant murderous thoughts into minds. Friends, the face of fury is always demonic, but there are darker levels to anger. When we see this particular rage that kills others, know that we are dealing with demons.
There is only one way to combat it and this is through prayer. As we are aware that certain people are taken over by the demons of rage, rage is also following all people. No one is immune. This is because if we walk in the flesh, we fall easily under the trap of these demons too and if we are not guarded, do you realize they can even instigate a good person to kill? It has happened, not very common, so we have to be careful.
Pray for yourself, so you don’t get swept away in a wave of anger by people set up by the devil to make you angry. The devil is sending his colonies of demons to instigate people to fall into the trap of rage
We should first be able to recognize that the negative forces of darkness is setting us up to anger. This will help half the battle to be won.
We should have the power to resist the temptation of anger through God. Pray.
Do not hang around with angry people, as it only leads to more anger. That same spirit will start to hang around you. Instead make yourself accountable to someone or a group of people. Ask them too to pray for you especially when you feel your anger out of control.
Start praying for the nation, for the people in darkness to see His Light and believe. Pray for deliverance from the chains of hatred and anger too.
Bind the spirits of anger. Murder comes in the form of a demon, enters the heart of a man or woman and makes them commit the heinous act. Of course, this does not excuse people because they did this in cooperation with the demon, they opened their lives willingly to evil and this was the bad fruit of their alliances.
Ask God to fill us with more love.
Walk in the Holy Spirit daily to deliver us from falling into the trap of anger.
In the Spirit, when anger replaced with love, the Heavens open from above. You will start to soar on eagles’ wings, free from the trap of anger. Surrender each day to the Lord and put your hope in God and you will be blessed in your land.
