August 10 – O Earth, Earth, Earth, hear the Word of the Lord!”
Jeremiah 22:29 “O Earth, Earth, Earth, hear the Word of the Lord!”
When God repeats something three times, it means it is extremely important. He is urgently calling to the Earth to hear His Word, His Voice and His Truth.
Earth is the focus of God’s attention. Among the galaxy of billions of stars blazing in the sky, God chose Planet Earth to bless it with light and life. So far, scientists have found Earth with the largest bodies of water, the only planet with oxygen and life. God wants to talk to us, He wants us to listen so that He can do wonders on Earth and reveal His glory.
God blessed this Earth, but due to the greed and ambition, people murder, steal, and destroy others. Nations attack another to conquer and control. Drugs, alcohol and addictions keep us trapped in trances. Wickedness keep people in bondage and the Earth is sinking into abysmal darkness.
God loves the world! Hear My Voice! Cried God. But humans blinded in a dark mist stumbled with angry discord. God sent messengers, signs, wonders. Later wind, earth and fire disasters. But they walked away from the Light, ignominiously ignorant of their plight
They boasted in arrogance, “There is no heaven, hell or God. And people fought and were not in one accord. But evil cannot rule forever. The climate will change, the winds of change will come. The Voice of God will thunder through the skies, the wailing wind will tremble at His voice. On that day, darkness will be swallowed by His Light.
That day will be the time of awakening, and judgement. People will turn to Him, the wicked will be judged. God is calling us each day, are we listening? Don’t wait till it’s too late.
Some Ways How to Hear God:
God has created you for a close relationship with Himself. Talk to Him as you would to a friend, through the day, as much as you can.
In time, you will start to get clear instructions, deep within you. This Voice or thoughts are different from your mind talking to you. You will learn to know the difference.
Read the Holy Book daily to know His thoughts. Many times, words will burn into your heart when He is talking to you.
Wait on Him with a calm stilled heart, prepared to hear Him.
Meditate on the Word and then silence your thoughts, and He will open your mind.
Renew your mind daily and walk in the Holy Spirit, leaning on Him. The Holy Spirit starts to speak even through dreams and visions sometimes.
Many times, a message, a sermon, a book, a speaker from the television will speak the Words of God to you. Listen carefully.
When we seek to hear God, His glory comes into that area. Habakkuk 2:14: For the Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. This will happen in the Millennium but we will also get a taste of this in a revival wave now! Seek His Voice and His glory will shine around our habitations to reveal Himself to others too.
