April 30 – Double up Your Prayer Zone
Acts 1:14: All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together.
Prayerless arrogance has a hard price, lack of humility and prayerless lives payed its price today. Steep up your prayer lives and strengthen your fibers in your cloaks of humility. Don’t look for glory or rush to upload videos of your good works.
Recently, a pastor’s wife shared of a group of strong believers who came to Siliguri in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim. They are all young and healthy, but one day, one young pastor’s wife was feeling very unwell and went for a medical check up to find that both her kidneys were severely failing! We all recognized the enemy’s hand in it. People need to actively engage in spiritual warfare prayers, not only praying for protecting but also binding the works of darkness and casting them down, which unfortunately many don’t. Protection and building of our walls is essential and this is what we need to pray for.
Today actor Rishi Kapoor died and yesterday actor Irfan Khan died, two great Indian legends within a day of each other; eerily they recently acted in a movie together where the exact same thing happened; they died within a day of each other. Fiction turned to reality. What does one say to this? I believe what we say, confess, read, watch and act, write opens doors making us vulnerable to attack. This is why we need to cover all that we do in prayer. It might sound crazy to some, but this is the reality of life. Of course, in God’s timing, He takes lives, but the uncanny coincidence of timing in death always makes us wonder if things could have been delayed or things could have gotten better under the covering of prayer.
Wear the Armor of Light and Call for Protection Daily: The Amor of Light is a daily application of faith daily. We wear the armor by choice, by faith we say, “Father, clothe me in the Amor of Light and when we make that prayer application to our lives, these truths become appropriated and then the Armor of Light is implemented in reality: The armor is shared about in the previous reading.
By our salvation faith we are protected, we cover ourselves with the Blood of Christ daily.
Angels: Ask God to send His warring angels on your behalf in a battle, ask Him to set you in the company and ring of His angels. Psalm 91:11: For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways
Know your position in Christ: Satan smells fear. If we are unaware of our spiritual authority, the demons have greater access to our lives. We have to walk in Christ without fear and know our spiritual authority to drive out fear.
Sometimes, it is wise to flee: At times when unarmed, yes, we have to flee, even disciples fled. Sometime we have to hide ourselves, not only in ourselves but in Christ (through prayer) and go low, this is wisdom. In certain seasons, it is wise to lie low, hide in Christ, and keep still. John 8:59: Then took they up stones to cast at Him: but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Recognize Territory: Angels, gods rule different nation and different demons rule different territories, so when we walk into a new country, place or area, pray much, for certain spirits rule those places, affecting the behavior of people there. In some areas, the spirit of murder, rape, robbery, pornography, prostitution rule more. We will see this in reality in different place…pray in unknown territory. don’t just walk in unawares.
Be in season to bind, release, cast down and cast out demons wherever you go. Use your spiritual authority and double up your prayer zone daily.
