April 16 – There is Power in Isolation #spiritual

April 16 – There is Power in Isolation

Usually when something is going very wrong in my life, I give myself three days of “isolation” and by the third day, things really calm down but the second day is hell.

During the pandemic, the strength of humans is to isolate, but the solution seems so silly that no one wants to do it, not even politicians.  Now, it is not possible with India with over 1 billion population to be under quarantine but it is possible to avoid heavy crowds.  Business has to go on and the economy cannot drop or people will starve and be in greater distress.

However, we must know that crowding is giving the virus strength to feast and grow, and multiply. This will intensify all over the nations. Unfortunately, people loved their crowding too much.

If as a human, you are afraid to be alone with yourself and your own thoughts, then there is a lot of clutter in your brain that has to be cleaned out.

As humans, there are seasons where we need to “isolate”, be still and silent, reflect on things, on values in life, pray, worship, just connect with your spirit, your inner light and higher self. This can be only done when you are alone, not in surging crowds.

In place of our exhaustion and spiritual fatigue, God will give us rest. All He asks is that we come to Him…that we spend a while thinking about Him, meditating on Him, talking to Him, listening in silence, occupying ourselves with Him – totally and thoroughly lost in the hiding place of His presence.  Chuck Swindoll

Always beware of a driving force that makes you do things rushing and racing, and feeling that if you did not, nothing  would happen and you could not accomplish your plans.  This is untrue.  What has to happen will be.  We have to do what we do to the best of our ability and then leave it, but never be pushed as if under a burden or yoke.

Identify the wave patterns in your brain and you will know which force is behind it. It is fear that makes people superstitious, fear that if they did not do something, or did not participate in a ritual, something bad will happen.  That is untrue.

What has to be will happen, and will be accomplished far better when you take time to isolate, you get charged by the God Himself and accomplishes things with the fire of His presence, with a sense of peace and empowerment for what you need to do.  Door will open faster when you are back from isolation.

John MacArthur: Job’s story demolishes the notion that we can avoid Satan’s attacks if we’re sufficiently strong, or skilled enough, or trained in how to wage war against Satan. No one was more spiritually fit than Job. Yet God allowed Satan to ravage him anyway – and there was nothing Job could do about it. Job finally prevailed in the face of Satan’s merciless assault, not because he found some secret way to beat the devil, not because he rebuked him or ordered him to desist, but because God was in control all along. He knew how much Job could bear. And He would not permit Satan to cross that boundary (1 Cor. 10:13). When Satan reached that limit God stopped him and his attacks ended.

When we keep on crowding and never give space to ourselves to meditate, pray, reflect, fast, whatever you need to do to get centered again, we live in a state of unpreparedness, physical tiredness, overworking, so we are rarely on top of things, readily overcome with the slightest trials.

We need to take many spaces in our lives to isolate and grow strong again and when we do that, all the negative things in our lives will die, just like with coronavirus, it will die when we isolate huge crowds. As I said, India cannot close down, but we must avoid massive crowds.  This is the principle of life.
