A lake was placid and morbid On a cold winter’s morn Life in the dead lake Was morbid as it lagged along Then something stirred The chilled waters that dawn A tiny ripple started to tremble And shake and shiver so strong It tossed frozen water atoms Reverberating million atoms quakes That sparkled in the pale sunlight The atoms danced on the freezing lake The lake started to glow and shimmer Silver sparkles lit up bright Ecstasy filled hearts with giddy flight Suddenly warm with divine delight Fish leaped up mad with joy Happily dancing in the lake The spirit of joy released And a new shift did break All life in that lonely lake Suddenly smiled, wide-awake
A kind word, little good act A small deed is like a ripple It transforms all things And has the loaded power of a missile For bad or for good The ripple effect can change lives around in its ocean flow Good deeds along wild currents grow Bad deeds on turbid stirring waters Call tempests and devastate lakes And haunt under cold polar skies Carrying in waves of the fraternizing fake
For the ripple good or bad deeds done Flows back in symphony waves
The spiritual ecosystem Energizes and rewards good Knocking down tempest hoods Shimmering and rejoicing Those ripple movements Travel around the globe Wonders manifest mightily from warm balmy south To icy North Sea lobes Witnessing wonders happen No eye has seen nor ear ever heard! And it all starts simply With the move of a tiny ripple

Luke 6:38: Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you
