A Smooth Sea Never Made a Skilled Sailor
Tough times come in our lives, and hard days hit us, but this does not mean we give up. Sometimes, diseases try to ravage our bodies, and it is medicine mixed with positive vibes that heal us faster than our fears.
Earlier, I mentioned about the fire in our lives. The fire within also sparks and brightens our skills and enables us to get stronger through stormy seas. The very fire in us burns out fears, pain, sickness, negativity and tormenting voices that haunt us in the dead of night. Weaknesses, addictions and burned down by the fire in the altar of our hearts.
We can keep the fire blazing by first cleaning up the dirt, mess, chaos in our lives. .
We can keep the fire blazing by having a living deep communion with the Creator of our lives, who ignites us within.
We have to seek fresh fire for the new day. Don’t live on the victories of yesterday. Put fresh logs into the fire. Fresh logs are prayers, the Holy Book, inspirational books which stir up our spirits and encourage us, spend time in meditation and prayer.
It is hard times that keep us like skilled sailors and teach us to draw closer to God and also how to sail on stormy seas with skill, with the fire blazing within our souls.
