A lake was placid and morbid On a cold winter’s morn Life in the lake Was bored as it lagged along Then something stirred the chilled waters that dawn A tiny ripple started to tremble And shivered along It touched water atoms
Reverberating million atoms quakes Sparkling in the sunlight The atoms danced in the lake The lake started to shimmer Silver sparkles so bright Ecstasy filled the air Overflowing with divine delight Fish leaped up abundantly Happily in the lake The spirit of joy released And a new shift did break All life in the lake Suddenly smiled, wide-awake
In life, a tiny word, sweet smile A small deed is like a ripple It transforms all things And has the loaded power of a missile For bad or for good The ripple effect can turn your life around So when you do a deed Make sure your feet are on God’s ground For the bad you do Turbid waves of dark waters may rise Raging tempests devastate lakes And haunt cold polar skies
If a ripple good you did It will come back to you In symphony waves As the spiritual ecosystem Energized by life Rewards the brave Shining, glowing, rejoicing Those ripple movements Travel around the globe Wonders manifest mightily from warm balmy south To icy North Sea lobes And you will see miracles happen As no eye has seen nor ear ever heard!
