Going through the fire sounds horrible, but really it is a slow process of melting that we are many times not even aware of. A lump of gold turns molten liquid in the blazing fire, a work of refinement that separates dross from gold.
We can never decide what will happen, what lies around the corner and which refining fire will leap into our lives to transform us or burn us down.
We all naturally hate trials and tough times. Truth is, living in comfort zones in the lap of luxury may keep us happy in some ways, but slowing, the light inside is starts to fade and die.
Going through the fire does not mean a literal fire but a transforming spiritual fire. It is not in our hands, but is in circumstances that happen, to test us. How we react is our decision. We could scream in fury and take revenge, or we could rest, trust, believe, do good and wait upon the Divine Hand to transform this.
The process of going through the fire is so subtle that we many times are not aware that we are going through it. We are not aware of the deeper changes inside us occurring. For example, fire can represent a tough relationship, a tough ruler of a nation, bad laws that afflict us, persecution because of religion, virus and sickness rising everywhere, and so on.
As humans, those who are philosophical going through tough times will practice positive thinking, and the spiritual ones will seek God wanting a visitation, but God wants a habitation. We are refined by fire as we walk through, we come out and leave sparks of light wherever we go, as the quote says. We can never go through something deep and remain untouched.
To walk through the fire and release sparks as we walk out:
We must be willing to go through fires of trial that refine us. The greater the fire of trial, the more we will come forth, glistening like gold.
We need to let go, and allow a deeper work to happen so that transformation light glows within and flows out, all the result of refinement and change.
Allow changes to transpire: The more we suppress or resist, we either die out like a lamp”s light whose flame extinguishes because in the struggle to resist a change of refinement, oxygen is lost. The acceptance for transformation allows the oil of God to flow and feed our flame, and eventually walk out leaving glittering sparks. Try to learn something from every incident and move to higher ground with that learning.
Remember, the greatest people on Earth went through some fire, study their lives and this was why they could leave sparks wherever they went.
