What if we all took hardcore revenge For the wrongs in yesteryear’s done? Treading on thin ice highly strung Well, that eye for an eye will turn us blind At the edge of a wheel crushing to grind Stumbling in stormy darkness in lonely isles Dawn rises in horizons but we lost joyful smiles Angry hearts take us down below the dust Fury breaks lives and souls start to rust Nations raging over wrongs of the past Get stuck in the mud and their troubles last Get up, let go, give up and look to the skies God who renews hope, healing will cause us to rise An eye for an eye will turn the world blind When we let go, then only victory we will find!

Matthew 5:38-39
Eye for Eye
Jesus said, 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. (meaning do not take revenge by harming that person with violence!)
