2020 was the spookiest eeriest, deathliest ghostliest year COVD-19 knocked on doors grasping lives leaving ghastly fear We lost famed figures, known loved ones far and near Locked in confines, jobs, lives lost and economy dropped Life degenerated to a vicious vengeful hellish flip-flop But in the middle of all this endless stinging pain and sorrow Wonderful things happened that transpired to a meaningful morrow Met most awesome people, did new things in a fresh direction As jewels form under pressure under higher inspiration Deeper, stronger, richer life formed under the 2020 horror And faith, hope, love and peace took precedence to replace the pain To swing open doorways to 2021 to better golden gain and grain!
