September 7 – Words of Wisdom
Proverbs 16:24: 24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Wonderful words of delight spring from the heart of wisdom, powerful, like a sparkling crystal prism which captures finer insights attuned to the Heavens with treasures poured out. These wise words strike the conscience, conscious, subconscious recesses of the human mind to spur the heart to make informed decisions and spirit-led decisions with insight and understanding beyond the human periphery of understanding. Words that are sweet as honey yet sharp as a sword, slicing, dividing, defining, soothing, healing, restoring, binding together and life springing words.
If we want to speak words of wisdom, we have to ask for the gift of wisdom. King Solomon asked for this gift and got it, it is that simple.
In Proverbs 2:1-4: Wisdom calls for diligent searching (Proverbs 2:1–4). This doesn’t mean that wisdom is hidden or difficult to find, but rather, we make an active effort to go after it, store it up like treasure, and apply our hearts to understanding it and acting on it practically.
This in turn will lead us to receive the wonderful gift of wisdom. Jesus in Proverbs 8 is personified as Wisdom. We find our wisdom and understanding when we find Him. Those who are close to God always have gracious healing delivering words in love and even in rebuke. The gift of the anointing allows the hearer to receive the words spoken, to deliver, to heal, to restore, to comfort, to strengthen. People present were healed by Jesus’s words and His presence. The only ones who did not receive anything were those who violently rejected His words.
Our words of wisdom to others will break the yolks off people’s lives and spur them to make the right decisions. A wise person has an ability to understand situations and discern what to do. Pure wisdom always makes a person stable and secure in their steps that reflect their stability and strength in daily life, wrapped in the cloak of wisdom, they know where they are going and what they are doing. We can rely on a wise person who does not keep changing like shifting sands. Receiving good positive words and acting on it makes one wise and brings healing to the bones and body and keeps our spirits happy.
